The son of a black Venezuelan and a white Swedish psychologist, Sweden’s forward Martin Dahlin was born 12 days after Martin Luther King’s assassination and gets his name from the slain civil rights leader.
“My mother gave me his name,” says Dahlin, who, the Telegraph said, “has conducted himself superbly as the world’s media closes in.”
