McCaughey Leads Bullfrogs to Victory
Brad McCaughey scored a season-high seven goals to lead the Bullfrogs past the San Jose Rhinos, 16-10, Friday night before 5,091 fans at San Jose Arena.
McCaughey scored four goals in the third quarter to break open the game, which was tied at halftime, 4-4. The Rhinos were never able to catch up.
Darren Colbourne led San Jose with five goals and teammate Grant Sjerven had 15 saves. Chris Gordon had eight saves for Anaheim.
The Bullfrogs (10-3-0) remain atop Roller Hockey International’s Pacific Division. San Jose (7-3-2) is tied with the Blades for second place.
