LINCOLN HEIGHTS : Priest to Celebrate 25th Anniversary
Father Juan Santillan will celebrate 25 years in the priesthood with a Mass on Tuesday and community reception Saturday at Our Lady Help of Christians.
Father Santillan, 55, the youngest of five boys in a family of nine children who grew up in Chavez Ravine, was first assigned to Santa Teresita Catholic Church in the Ramona Gardens Housing Project. He recently was moved from St. Lucy’s Catholic Church to Our Lady Help of Christians.
The reception will be from 2 to 6 p.m. at the church hall, 512 S. Avenue 20.
