Triconex Corp.: The Irvine industrial safety and control systems company posted second-quarter profit of $1.4 million, or 27 cents a share. That compared to earnings of $1.3 million, or 26 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue gained 43% to $12.4 million from $8.7 million. Profit for the six-month period reached $2.1 million, or 41 cents a share, which included a $750,000 write-off associated with two first-quarter acquisitions. That compared to a profit of $2.6 million, or 50 cents a share, for the first half of 1993. Six-month revenue was up 47% to $24.2 million from $16.5 million.
