Kings Trade for O'Donnell

The Kings acquired defenseman Sean O'Donnell from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for defenseman Doug Houda on Tuesday.

O'Donnell, 22, has played the past three seasons with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League. O'Donnell, who is 6-feet-3 and weighs 215 pounds, was Buffalo's sixth-round choice in 1991.

Houda, 28, played a year for the Kings after being acquired from the Hartford Whalers for Marc Potvin in November of 1993.
