* * 1/2 Mark Collie, “Unleashed,” MCA. Collie still struggles with where to focus his talents: heartland rocker (“Waiting”)? Presleyan balladeer (“When You Belonged to Me”)? Nouveau rockabilly (“Rainy Day Woman”)? Or country-soul singer (“Lonely Streak”)? The last two work best here. As for the swaggering, Billy Ray Cyrus-infected--er, inflected --title track: unnecessary is the word.
