Boy, 8, Crossing Street Hit by Car
SANTA ANA —
An 8-year-old boy was in serious condition Saturday night after he tried to cross Edinger Avenue and was hit by a car, police said.
The boy, who was not identified, was struck by a car heading west in the 1900 block of West Edinger Avenue. He was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange. Santa Ana police said the driver of the car stopped and phoned police after the accident.
