International Remote Imaging Posts Profit

International Remote Imaging Systems Inc., the Chatsworth-based maker of urinalysis systems, reported a profit of $356,128 for the second quarter that ended June 30, up 3% from a profit of $344,470 for the same three-month period of 1993.

Revenue in the quarter was a record $2.71 million, up 14% from revenue of $2.38 million during the second quarter of 1993.

For the six months that ended June 30, the company posted net income of $450,947 on revenue of $4.66 million, compared with a profit of $650,181 on revenue of $4.75 million for the year-earlier period.
