MOORPARK : Takasugi Plans a ‘Business Walk’
Assemblyman Nao Takasugi, stressing the importance of small business, will walk through Moorpark’s Gateway Plaza on Friday to meet some of the companies he represents.
“It’s important to understand that whether a business has 100 employees or just one, they are essential to California’s economy,” the Oxnard Republican said in a statement. “As a small businessman for over 35 years, I understand firsthand the needs and concerns of business owners.”
In one of his occasional “business walks” through the 37th district, Takasugi has scheduled at least six stops at the center on East Los Angeles Drive.
Typically, he uses contacts he makes on the walks for business advisory boards and committees. Local firms, in turn, have an opportunity to discuss the problems and changes the state Assembly should address. “We still have a lot of work to do in Sacramento for California’s businesses,” he said.
