Comarco Inc.: The Yorba Linda provider of wireless communications products, management and engineering services said that its second-quarter profit improved 84% from the prior year period, to $699,000, or 14 cents a share, from $380,000, or 7 cents a share. Revenue for the quarter ended July 31 was up slightly, to $16 million from $15.9 million. For the first half, profit rose 18%, to $1.3 million, or 27 cents a share, from $1.1 million, or 20 cents a share, for the corresponding six months last year. Revenue declined to $31.7 million from $32.6 million.
