A public discussion of a controversial proposal to build a 36-acre auto mall near the planned Foothill tollway will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Trabuco Mesa Elementary School.
The meeting, sponsored by the Rancho Santa Margarita Civic Assn., will feature a speaker from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and possibly a representative from the Santa Margarita Co., the area’s developer.
The mall would be part of a 450-acre business park near Santa Margarita Parkway and Avenida de las Flores.
The public is invited. The school is at 21301 Avenida de las Flores.
Call the civic association at (714) 858-1677 for more information.
