ROLLER HOCKEY : Blades Roll to Game 1 Victory

Craig Charron scored four goals and had three assists to lead the Blades to a 14-6 victory over the San Diego Barracudas in Game 1 of a first-round Roller Hockey International playoff series before 1,974 Wednesday night at the San Diego Sports Arena.

Steve Bogoyevac had a goal and five assists for the Blades, whose 18-4 regular-season record was the best in the Pacific Division.

Game 2 of the two-game series is Friday night at 7:30 at the Forum. If the Barracudas win, the teams will play a 12-minute game immediately afterward to determine the series winner.
