Computer Associates Slashing Key Program’s Price: The maker of software for big computers announced price cuts of up to 95% on its CA-Unicenter, a program that helps unite the data in older computers with new machines. The price cuts apply to workstations and minicomputers that use the Unix operating system. Several other developers of so-called enterprise software have also cut prices recently or offered cheaper versions of products for the smaller powerful computers.
