OUTLOOK

Not many teams can boast a living legend as a coach. Hill brings with him a 196-87-3 varsity record and a world of experience. He’ll need it. The Panthers are not without talent. Ford is as good as there is up front in league. Bell is fast. Garza and Heard should be able to carry the load at running back. Then there’s the quarterback spot. Lauridsen is the only one with experience but was erratic last season. But either he or the untested McGraw will be at quarterback. Lurking in the background is Starr.
