OUTLOOK

The class of the league, even with the loss of Grant Pearsall (USC), who played four positions last season. Although the Spartans might not have the marquee name, they do have everything else. McMahon is a solid quarterback and Villa Park has several quality receivers, led by Adams. That should give the running game time to develop. The offensive line is huge and experienced. The defense the same. Watch out for Lenard Barnes, who was devastating at times, even if he was undisciplined. He could be the best defensive lineman in the league.
