Victoria Mortgage Corp.: The Irvine mortgage company said Thursday that it is breaking off merger talks with a mortgage company in New Jersey. Victoria Mortgage said it was unable to agree on terms in its talks with First Town Mortgage Corp. of Secaucus to lead to a definitive agreement and the discussions ended amicably.
