From Associated Press
RUIDOSO DOWNS, N.M. —
Noblesse Six outran Darlin Sixarun and previously undefeated Major Rime in the $1.6-million All American Futurity on Monday.
Ridden by veteran jockey Chris Zamora of New Mexico, Noblesse Six took late command of the 440-yard sprint over the final 50 yards to earn the $1-million first prize.
The race, the richest in quarter horse racing, was marred when Doo Dominate broke both front legs 100 yards from the finish and had to be destroyed.
