Violent Movies
* Has anyone else noticed that Gov. Pete Wilson has signed into law AB 1685, which prohibits sexually explicit or extremely violent movies or videos from being shown to Youth Authority and juvenile hall inmates (Aug. 25)? Could it be that such films might be harmful or might even contribute to similar behavior in impressionable youth? What a pity that children must be in trouble before they receive such protection.
