LONDON REPORT: Former Sugarcubes singer Bjork is not only set to release an “MTV Unplugged” album in November, but is lining up collaborations for her next studio album. Among those set to work with the Icelandic singer, who teamed with former Soul II Soul member Nelle Hooper on last year’s “Debut,” are Graham Massey of the techno-dance group 808 State, London-based avant-garde ambient trio Black Dog and the classical percussionist and harpist who appeared on the “Unplugged” session.

Most tantalizing are hints from Bjork that she may hook up with Polly Jean Harvey, with whom she dueted on “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” at this year’s Brit Awards ceremony. “We’ve been flirting around the idea a lot in our postcards to each other,” Bjork said after a recent invitation-only screening of her new long-form video, “Vessel.”

Bjork also said that she turned down an offer of a role in “Tank Girl,” an upcoming feature film based on the cult British cartoon strip. Among those who will be appearing in the movie is Ice-T, who is to play the anarchic title heroine’s “boyfriend”--a kangaroo named Booga.
