Air Pollution Hearing: State Sen. Robert Presley (D-Riverside), chairman of the Senate Select Committee on California’s Business Climate, will hold a hearing today to discuss what economic impact the federal Environmental Protection Agency’s air-pollution-reduction plans would have on the Ventura and South Coast areas. The proposals are designed to bring certain regions of the state into compliance with the federal Clean Air Act. The hearing will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ontario City Hall.
