FRIDAY FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Manual Arts Stuns Dorsey on Last-Minute TD
Willie Laffitte threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Darnell Martin with 11 seconds remaining in the game to lift Manual Arts to a stunning 14-13 upset of Dorsey at Manual Arts.
Dorsey took a 13-7 lead in the fourth quarter when Roderick Brown threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Pete Friday, but the Dons missed the extra point with 9:40 remaining.
Brian Beckom scored Manual Arts’ first touchdown on a 12-yard run.
Dorsey came back on the opening drive of the second half when running back Jamel Gordon scored on a 43-yard run. Gordon rushed 11 times for 108 yards.
