Robert Blair Krueger; Founder of Legal Firm

Robert Blair Krueger, 65, name partner in a Los Angeles law firm and consultant and author on sea law. Krueger served from 1966 to 1973 on state commissions on ocean resources, and, beginning in 1972, on the National Security Council’s Advisory Committee on the Law of the Sea and on the U.S. Delegation to U.N. Seabeds Committee. Educated at the University of Kansas and the University of Michigan Law School, he began his legal career with the Los Angeles law firm of O’Melveny & Myers. He left to found his own firm, Blair & Krueger, in 1955. The firm later became Nossaman, Waters, Krueger, Marsh & Riordan. Krueger was its senior partner specializing in natural resources. In addition to several articles for the Natural Resources Journal and various law journals, Krueger wrote books. On Sept. 11 in La Jolla.
