SAN CLEMENTE : Fund-Raiser Planned for Animal Shelter
A volunteer group is sponsoring a fund-raising event for the San Clemente Animal Shelter.
The nonprofit group Friends of San Clemente Animals will host its annual fund-raiser Oct. 1 at the Pacific Golf Club.
It is a major source of revenue for the organization, which jointly operates the shelter with the city.

The fund-raiser begins at 7 p.m. and will feature food, casino-style gambling with scrip and a silent auction.
