Fountain Valley Hospital Names Chief Executive
Richard E. Butler has been appointed chief executive of Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center. He has been the administrator for the past five years. In addition, Thomas M. Ways has been selected as president of OrNda HealthCorp’s physician hospital organization, currently under development. Ways had been the chief executive of Fountain Valley Medical Development Co., which owned Fountain Valley Regional Hospital before it was acquired by OrNda.
* Lance A. Wood has been appointed a partner in the Orange County office of Arthur Anderson in Irvine. He was previously a senior manager with the accounting and business services firm.
* Daniel C. Horgan has joined Kemper Securities Inc. in Newport Beach as a senior vice president-investments. He was formerly first vice president-investments with Prudential Securities, and before that, was a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch in the Long Beach office.
