EL MONTE : Month-Old Boy Found Safe 1 Week After Kidnaping
A one-month-old boy was found safe in Las Vegas on Tuesday after being kidnaped from an El Monte motel more than a week ago.
Otto Ivan Guillermo was abducted from Caesar’s Motel on Garvey Avenue by a woman who befriended his mother, Christina Macias, 28, and then disappeared with the infant, police said.
The alleged kidnaper, who police believe is named Stacey Tomlinson, was arrested in Las Vegas on Tuesday morning after El Monte police received a phone call from a truck driver who said he had bought the woman a plane ticket to Las Vegas. The trucker alerted authorities after hearing radio reports about the kidnaping, police said.
