WOODLAND HILLS : Information Day to Focus on UC Schools
An informational program for high school and community college students about the nine University of California campuses will be held Sunday at Pierce College in Woodland Hills.
The program, “UC Days,” will include campus-specific question-and-answer sessions, college admissions workshops and information about financing a UC education. Students from 200 San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles area high schools have been invited.
The free program will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on the mall at Pierce, 6201 Winnetka Ave. Program agendas giving room locations will be distributed on Sunday.
UC campuses that will be represented are UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC Davis, UC San Diego, UC Santa Cruz and UC San Francisco.
