Seminar on Philippine Projects: The Philippine government is hosting a seminar today to acquaint Southern California business people with opportunities to participate in infrastructure improvement projects under way or in the planning stages in the Philippines. Officials will also discuss opportunities for other foreign investment. The one-day seminar will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Hilton Long Beach Hotel in Long Beach.
