MISSION VIEJO : Vendors Needed for Saddleback Swap Meet
Vendor applications are being accepted for the Saddleback Outdoor Marketplace, which will open next month at Saddleback College.
The swap meet is scheduled to open Nov. 12. The City Council approved the land use last week.
The marketplace will be every weekend in parking lot 10 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with an estimated 400 vendors, food and entertainment. Admission and parking will be free. The marketplace is operated under the auspices of the Saddleback College Foundation. Proceeds will benefit the college.
Interested vendors of crafts, collectibles, clothing and other goods should contact Sam Marcus, president of Outdoor Marketplace Inc., at (714) 249-9594. Fees to rent booths start at $25.
Two booths will be set aside at no charge for nonprofit groups.
For more information on how to reserve a booth, call the college at (714) 582-4530.
