Villainy Among the Vats

Lunchers arriving at San Antonio Winery last week found that the premises had apparently been transported to San Francisco and taken over by Nob Hill Jewelry, and at the same time they were also mysteriously in Sonoma, rather than downtown Los Angeles. Furthermore, there had been two murders--one in the barrel room and another out front.

It was all part of the script for an upcoming episode of “Murder, She Wrote,” and Jessica Fletcher (Angela Lansbury) was sniffing out the culprit as usual. Tentatively scheduled to air Nov. 20, the episode filmed at San Antonio Winery, titled “Crimson Harvest,” tranforms the L.A. landmark into the fictional Grimaldi Winery of Sonoma County. The winery entrance will also appear as a jewelry shop, and the on-premises restaurant as an Italian eatery in San Francisco.
