Five residents of a house in the 19300 block of Pitcairn Lane were robbed at gunpoint Wednesday by two men who had said they wanted to rent a room, police said.

None of the victims, who range in age from 20 to 33, were injured in the robbery, according to Lt. Luis Ochoa.

The two robbers, both in their 20s, fled with an undetermined amount of cash and jewelry in a 1988 Acura Legend.

Victims told police they advertised to rent a room in the house, and that they received a telephone call early Wednesday from someone asking to see it. About 11 a.m., two men arrived, one of whom identified himself as having made the earlier call.

One of the men showed a chrome, semiautomatic handgun as the pair forced their way in, police said.
