Police Officer Deserves Extra-Special Praise
“Above and Beyond” should be police Officer Mitch Windsor’s slogan rather than “Protect & Serve.”
On Sept. 3 we had a blowout and were parked on Kester Avenue in Sherman Oaks awaiting the arrival of the Auto Club when Officer Windsor drove past on his motorcycle. He glanced over and then made a U-turn and came back to inquire about our situation.
He insisted upon removing the blown tire and replacing it with the spare. Despite our protestations he proceeded to do just that and was almost finished when the Auto Club arrived. His concern over our situation and his efforts on our behalf were certainly more than expected, and we truly commend him for his help.
