Balanced Oregon State Defeats Northridge

The Oregon State women’s volleyball team used a balanced attack to defeat Cal State Northridge, 15-12, 15-9, 11-15, 15-10, Saturday night in a nonconference match at Corvallis, Oregon.

The Matadors (10-7) were led by Missy Clements, who had a match-high 20 kills, but were undone by 31 team hitting errors to finish with a hitting percentage of only .103.

Matador Aimee Stone notched 12 kills but had 14 errors. Teammate Heather Anderson added 11 kills, and setter Kathleen Shannon had 39 set assists.

Oregon State is 11-6.
