PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : RAMS : Collins Released; Buchanan Sought

The Rams waived linebacker Brett Collins and hope to re-sign wide receiver Richard Buchanan today.

The team released Buchanan a few weeks ago to make room for quarterback Jamie Martin after Chris Chandler was injured.

Running back Jerome Bettis has carried the ball 32 times more than any back in the league this season. Bettis has 182 carries, Indianapolis’ Marshall Faulk has 150. Eric Dickerson holds the Ram record for carries in a season with 404.
