COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Feniello Keys Chapman Victory

Amy Feniello scored two goals and assisted on another to lead Chapman over Occidental, 3-2, in a nonconference women’s soccer game Wednesday at Chapman.

Cindy LeClair scored the Panthers’ third goal. Chapman is 11-3.

In other nonconference women’s soccer:

UC San Diego 7, Southern California College 1--San Diego scored six goals in the first half to get the victory. Jamie Gardiner, a sophomore from Sunny Hills, scored SCC’s only goal, on a penalty kick. Gardiner leads the Golden State Athletic Conference with 17 goals and 39 points. Goalie Amy Lewis, formerly of Villa Park High, had 25 saves for SCC.

In Golden State Athletic Conference men’s soccer:

Biola 1, Southern California College 0 (OT)--Kent Schrock scored the winning goal in the first overtime period to give Biola (10-5-1, 4-2) the victory. Schrock’s goal came in the 104th minute. SCC is 5-9-1, 1-4.
