Shawn Walters’ 234-yard game at Stanford boosted him to third in Pac-10 rushing statistics. Washington’s Napoleon Kaufman leads with 167 yards per game, followed by Arizona’s Ontiwaun Carter (124) and Walters (119). Wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson, with a 146-yard game at Stanford, is No. 2 among Pac-10 receivers at 97 yards per game, trailing only UCLA’s Kevin Jordan (108).

Coach John Robinson said freshman starting guard Phalen Pounds is making a faster-than-expected recovery from his late September arthroscopic knee surgery and might be ready to play Nov. 5 at Washington State. . . .
