SAN CLEMENTE : Training for School Program Starts Today
Volunteers began training Tuesdayfor a Capistrano Unified School District program that aims to show students how to appreciate their cultural, economic and religious differences.
The training, at Las Palmas Elementary School, is for a pilot called the Green Circle Program.
Program volunteers will teach students that they can choose to reach out and accept people into their “circle.”
The program is sponsored by the Las Palmas PTA, Capistrano Unified School District, National Conference of Orange County and the Orange County Human Relations Commission.
