Sugar Factory Planned: India’s Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. will venture out of the country for the first time to set up a sugar factory in Vietnam, the company said. The project, estimated to cost $18 million, will have a crushing capacity of 2,500 metric tons per day. A. Nanda Kumar, a senior company official, said. The sugar plant, which will be 100% owned by the Nagarjuna Group, is expected to begin production in November, 1996. Initially, the entire production will be sold in the domestic market.
