Danny Goldberg Accepts Warner Bros. Records Post: The head of Warner’s Atlantic label has agreed to become chairman of Warner Bros. Records, sources said. Goldberg was tapped to succeed Mo Ostin, the legendary head of the label who will step down in January. Goldberg was offered the position last week shortly after Warner Music Group President Doug Morris gained control of the company’s domestic music division following a battle with Warner Music Chairman Robert Morgado. Goldberg’s appointment to the post was generally well received at the company, which continues to be shaken by management turmoil.
