Dual Concept Test: Carl’s Jr. franchisees Gary and Anne Wiles opened a dual concept restaurant in late October that features the chain’s burgers as well as Mexican-style fast food from the Green Burrito chain. The restaurant on Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point is part of an ongoing test marketing program to determine if additional Carl’s Jr.-Green Burrito restaurants will be opened.
Anne Wiles is a daughter of Carl N. Karcher, founder of the Carl’s Jr. fast-food chain.
