PLACENTIA : Day at Races Starts Excursion Schedule

The Recreation Division has announced its schedule of winter excursions for area residents. It includes “A Day at the Races” trip to Santa Anita Park race track from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 5. A $16 fee includes admission to the park and a picnic lunch.

December features the holiday “Cruise of Lights” in Huntington Harbour. The $18 fee includes a 45-minute cruise and refreshments afterward, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 17.

The season’s last outing is to the Tournament of Roses Parade Jan. 2 in Pasadena. The $45-per-person fee includes transportation, an official program and reserved grandstand seating. That trip is from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

All trips include round-trip bus transportation from the Placentia Civic Center parking lot. Fees are $3 higher for people who live outside of Placentia.
