Schools: Library Will Be Renamed
A Mar Vista school library will be renamed in honor of the school’s former principal.
Ella M. Hedler, 95, served as principal of Grand View Elementary School from 1953 to 1965. On Monday, the student body will honor her in a dedication ceremony.
Hedler now lives in Iowa. Her retirement in 1965 marked the end of a teaching career that began in 1939.
