Spraying Concerns
I realize that agriculture is the No. 1 business in Ventura County, but we must find other methods besides malathion spraying to stop the Medfly.
In Corona, no ladybugs, bees or birds are to be found in the area sprayed. People are complaining of nervousness and breathing problems.
The next time I see land movers tearing down a farm or fruit trees, I will be right with them. Because it’s big money in farming and it’s people in the agriculture business in this county who do not care about our next generation, our children.

I hope you will follow up on the water bills in Camarillo after a few malathion sprayings and after citizens have followed the state’s glib solution to concerns of toxicity: “Just hose everything off.”
So much for drought conservation efforts.
