Advanced Logic Research Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of computer systems recorded a loss of $346,000, or 3 cents a share, for its fiscal year ended Sept. 30. That compared to a loss of $10.6 million, or 94 cents a share, for the previous 12 months. Sales rose 8% to $183.4 million from $169.3 million. For its fourth fiscal quarter, the company posted a profit of $365,000, or 3 cents a share. That contrasted with a loss of $4.8 million, or 42 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Sales were up 2% to $47.7 million from $46.8 million.
