Parents Give School District Top Grades
A survey of parents in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District shows that most are happy with the school district and would give their child’s school an A or a B.
District officials sent a 23-question survey to every family in the district last spring. Of about 15,000 surveys mailed, 5,700 were returned, officials said.
More than 80% of the respondents gave the schools an A or B grade, with another 14% saying the schools are doing just a satisfactory job.
Parents were also asked to respond to questions about school and staff performance, academic standards and schools’ relationships with families.
