The entry fee for adults is $20. The fee for children 11 or younger is $15. Participants will receive a T-shirt and a Dinosaur Dash milk cap.

Linda Jennings, executive director of the Tustin Public Schools Foundation, said money raised from the event will be donated to Tustin schools to help enrich math, science, language, arts, reading, physical fitness and other school programs.

Last year, the event raised more than $22,000 and attracted nearly 5,000 participants, Jennings said.

The race features a wheelchair division, a dinosaur costume category and running teams from the police and fire departments, the military and clubs. The entry fee for five-member teams is $75.

Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in 16 age divisions of the 5-K race. All finishers in the 2-K walk will receive a prize.
