150 Artisans Due at Weekend Holiday Craft Faire in Westminster

Handcrafted Christmas decorations, toys, jewelry and other items will be on display at the annual Holiday Craft Faire today and Sunday at the Westminster Civic Center on Westminster Boulevard.

More than 150 artisans are expected to participate, according to Diana Kuka of the Community Services and Recreation Department, which is sponsoring the event.

Kuka said that handcrafted items for sale will be displayed in more than 100 booths. There will also be T-shirts, woodcarvings, needlework and other items, which were screened to make sure that they were handmade and not manufactured.

Admission is free. The fair is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Homemade cookies, cakes, drinks and other snacks will be available.
