Countywide : Community Troupe to Present ‘M*A*S*H’
Community Arts Theatre & Stage, a group of Fountain Valley parents who do everything from costumes to props to put on community productions, is presenting “M*A*S*H” Friday and Saturday. Curtain is 7 p.m.
There will also be a special 2 p.m. matinee performance Saturday of the play based on the hit movie and television series.
Performances will be at Masuda Middle School Theatre, 17415 Los Jardines West, off Slater Avenue in Fountain Valley.
Bob Hoxsie, who helped spearhead the local theater group, said the “M*A*S*H” cast includes 20 junior high, high school and college-age students.
This will be the group’s third production, Hoxsie said. The group was formed last year after students could no longer use Fountain Valley High School to put on their productions.
Ticket prices are $3 for students and seniors and $5 for adults. Tickets are available at the door. Information: (714) 963-8564 or (714) 965-6551.
