Vote Recount Challenged

HARTFORD, Conn. —
Both sides in the nation’s closest House race have asked the state Supreme Court to review the election.
Rep. Sam Gejdenson (D-Conn.) and Republican challenger Edward W. Munster filed separate motions Friday, each maintaining that he had lost votes in a recount, which left Gejdenson ahead by four votes out of nearly 160,000 cast in the 2nd District. The high court has until Dec. 19 to rule.
