Newport / Costa Mesa / Irvine : Businesses Planning Annual Holiday Walk

The Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce wants to help people get into the holiday shopping spirit with the 18th annual Corona del Mar Christmas Walk Dec. 4.

Businesses on both sides of East Coast Highway will serve refreshments and accept raffle ticket donations while dancers, carolers and other musicians entertain.

Entertainers this year include Buck Naked and Chapped Cheeks; jazz combo Vera and the Fabulous Fenno Brothers; a Christmas performance by Chorus Line Dance Studio; the Philharmonic Music Mobile; puppet shows, balloon elves and live reindeer.

Prizes in the raffle include a $1,250 gift certificate from the Chuck Jones Show Room; a massage-a-month for a year from Priestly chiropractic; a sterling silver desk set valued at $750; an Oriental rug valued at $650; a $50 floral arrangement each month for a year, and four Michelin tires. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on East Coast Highway in Corona del Mar.
