ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST : 2 Killed in Crash as Car Goes Off Mountain Road
A car careened off the Angeles Crest Highway and tumbled at least 200 feet down a mountainside today, killing at least two of five adults reportedly in the vehicle.
The accident occurred about 2:20 p.m. near mile marker 42 on the mountain road in the Angeles National Forest, said county Fire Inspector Dan Ertel.
The injured were taken to hospitals by sheriff’s helicopters.
